Observatory

A newly constructed roll off roof observatory with steel exterior measuring 20’ x 16’ will house your imaging equipment. The building has a 20’ long roof that rolls to the west.

Operation Details

You are welcome to bring your equipment to our location and we will assist with the installation or you may choose to ship your equipment to us for installation. Your telescope installation will be required to provide clearance for the roof when pointed at the zenith. Pier height c can be adjusted to accommodate your scope. This will prevent equipment damage should the roof need to be closed promptly due to changing weather conditions. Control of the roof opening and closing is performed by the onsite manager according to the weather conditions. The observatory has a warm room that serves as an equipment room providing complete sleeping and bathroom facilities should you decide to bring your equipment to our location for setup. Other accommodations are available in the vicinity should you prefer.

The building has a 20’ long roof that rolls to the west. Operated and controlled by the operations manager onsite.

Solid Foundation

Newly poured concrete slab and framed internal 2×6 walls are designed and built to withstand all weather and provide your equipment a solid foundation to be mounted on.

A building capable of housing an astronomical telescope and/or other scientific equipment for the study of natural phenomena.
