Remote Access Observatory

The observatory is located just north of Rodeo, NM with easy access. It is currently listed as being under a Bortle 2 sky by Clear Outside. A newly constructed roll off roof observatory with steel exterior measuring 20’ x 16’ will house your imaging equipment.

Our facility includes high speed internet to all customers for remote access requirements.

We also provide all customers with their own privately controlled Digital Logger Power switch used to remotely power on and off your equipment.

Our professionally designed network is built with security in mind. All equipment will be protected by comprehensive Next-Generation firewall for the ultimate in security.

All customers will have access to an onsite security camera mounted inside the observatory as well as the option to receive email notifications during power outages.

All Piers are equipped with a 1500VA APC UPS giving all customers the ability to safely shutdown their equipment if necessary during extended power outages.

All Piers locations are equipped with a 3 tier metal shelve capable of holding all of the necessary equipment and computers.
